GUIDELINES FOR SEMINAR PRESENTATION
1.All students are directed to submit your seminar base paper latest by 29th July 2018.
2.Report and presentation to be prepared in Latex and should get the approval from the guide at least one day prior to the presentation.
3.Approved rough report should be submitted at the time of presentation.
4.After presentation final fair report must be submitted on the next seminar day.
5.Presentation should not exceed 20 minutes and should be of minimum 15 minutes.
6.Presentation should be done in English and student must be in proper uniform.
7. Total of 8 students must be prepared to take seminar as per the slot allocated on each day of the seminar.
8.Each student should prepare a seminar diary containing the relevant details and brief summary of all the seminars presented. The diary must be submitted and will be evaluated at the end.
9.The Seminar will be evaluated on the following criterion :
a)Rough and Fair report.
b)Presentation,slides and content.
c)Knowledge on the topic (viva).
d)Seminar diary
10.Students who fail to present the seminar in the slot can be considered only as repeat presentation and marks will be reduced accordingly. Request for the Repeat presentation can be considered only if the reason is valid with proofs and forwarded from the Head of the department. There will be only single chance for repeat presentation . Those who are not presenting/not securing minimum in this chance will be marked as failed.
11. Those who are not securing minimum marks during the presentation will also get a single chance for Repeat presentation. However they need not submit the request letter. The slots for Repeat presentation will be given ,after the first round of presentation is over. Marks will be reduced for the students who are presenting in repeat chance. Students who fail to obtain minimum marks even in Repeat chance will be marked as fail.
12.Only a maximum of 75% of the seminar content must be from the base paper. The rest 25% must be from references,related or similar works,or some of your own contributions to the topics(suggestions,future works etc..)
